My Type of Walk is more than just a guided walk. Initially I started with this project in the screenprint atelier in ABKA. The idea just sprouted from my love for typography in combination with the screenprint atelier. So it would be a pity if I forgot to show you that screenprinted part, wouldn’t it? For me, it’s actually the biggest part of the project, in which I’ve put a lot of love and free time. And I’m happy to share it with you!
On my digitally printed map, you discover the neighbourhood from A till Z, that means 26 ‘stops’ on your way… Well, I have made a screenprinted postcard from every stop, and one stop has 2 versions, which makes 27 postcards in total, which I divided into 3 sets. I have lots of different colours too!
So, if you feel like supporting my project, if you love typography, if you love the Marolles, if like writing postcards – whatever reason is good – you can purchase one, two or, why not, three sets of postcards by emailing me at mytypeofwalk@gmail.com or there might still be some postcards-sets left at the HeyDay shop in the Marolles. They have the map too. What they don’t have is the limited edition of screenprinted posters in different colours. I will make a seperate post about that, maybe tomorrow.
